What we do
Research and Policy Advisory Services
Canada Bureau for African and Caribbean Immigrants (CBACI)
Our organization is well aware of the impact that statistics can have on promoting meaningful policy change at various levels of government; and we believe that it is our responsibility to ensure that we can provide these authorities with research-based data to enable them to make better policy decisions for members of the African and Caribbean immigrant community in Canada.
Under this program area, CBACI will provide;
- Research Services - Our team can help businesses, non-profits, government and academics achieve their research goals around the Canadian African and Caribbean immigrant community. We offer research services, including design consultations, ethics, data collection and analysis, staff training and more.
- Workshops - Our workshops will aim to enhance training and professional development for city, provincial, territorial and Federal authorities, with unique opportunities to engage in practical, applied and experiential learning in a variety of topics related to research methodologies and policy-related issues.
- Speakers and Outreach Series - CBACI will organise knowledgeable speakers who are equipped and well informed on the issues facing the African and Caribbean Immigrant community around Canada; and the outreach series will highlight the various issues which our broader programming seeks to address.
